Marc, Eliana, and I scoured the park for a couple hours late in the morning in search of migrants at A.D. Barnes Park. There were birds everywhere, and we finally left only due to an approaching thunderstorm. The main highlight was a Canada Warbler feeding near the edge of homeless hammock in the southeast corner of the park. Homeless hammock also had two Swainson's Warblers. We also observed an Acadian Flycatcher near the elevated boardwalk. We lucked out on the Blue-winged Warbler and Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher, though! Here is our final list: Chimney Swift Eastern Wood-Pewee: 2 Acadian Flycatcher Great Crested Flycatcher White-eyed Vireo Red-eyed Vireo: 22 Barn Swallow: 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 8 Ovenbird: 30 Worm-eating Warbler: 8 Northern Waterthrush Black-and-white Warbler: 5 Swainson's Warbler: 2 American Redstart: 5 Cape May Warbler Northern Parula: 10 Black-throated Blue Warbler: 7 Prairie Warbler: 8 Canada Warbler Summer Tanager: 2 Baltimore Oriole: 3 Carlos
