Mike and I stopped by the Crandon Park South Beach this wet, windy morning. The weather made birding real tricky so we decided to try for an impromptu hawk watch from life guard tower #10. Besides the expected shorebirds we had three fly by Black Terns about 30 yards offshore - my 10th tern species from Crandon's beach!
