The last two days have been pretty impressive in terms of witnessing migration. Early yesterday I had Common Nighthawks flying over the estate heading south in the late morning while Blue-winged Teals were seen into the afternoon making their way south over the bay. Today I started with a bay watch from the People's Dock before birding north along the Chinese Bridge Trail. Bobolinks constantly streamed over head along with Common Nighthawks, Eastern Kingbirds, Red-winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles. Still no Mississippi Kite though... full checklist below: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S25029520
