My son Philip and I decided to hopefully catch dinner as well as add birds to our June Challenge list. We succeeded in both, caught fish and added five birds to our list:
Sooty Tern
Bridled Tern
ARCTIC TERN
MASKED BOOBY
Brown Booby
Not only did we see an Arctic Tern, but two of them a lifer for Philip! We saw most of these birds in about 140' of water east of Pacific Light east of Homestead. We eat lunch on the boat while watching a MASKED BOOBY not more than 20-30' away from us swimming near some Sargasso weed. It was a nice day on the water!
