I birded this morning for June Challenge on Tamiami Trail from Krome Ave to the Miami-Dade border in Big Cypress Park. Had the following: DC Cormorant Anhinga Great Blue Heron Great Egret Snowy Egret Little Blue Heron Tricolored Heron Cattle Egret Green Heron Black-crowned Night-Heron White Ibis Black Vulture Turkey Vulture Osprey Red-shouldered Hawk Limpkin - 5 at abandoned airboat station just west of Miccosukee Visitor Center. Very tame birds. Least Tern Collared-Dove Mourning Dove Yellow-billed Cuckoo Red-bellied Woodpecker Great Crested Flycatcher Eastern Kingbird Blue Jay - 1 bird at Big Cypress, my first for park. Tree Swallow - 1 bird about a mile west of Casino. Surprised to see this one. Tufted Titmouse Blue-gray Gnatcatcher N. Mockingbird E. Starling N. Parula Red-winged Blackbird C. Grackle BT Grackle House Sparrow
