If you would like to report your notable Spring (March 1-May 31) bird sightings from SE Florida (Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach) for possible inclusion in Florida Field Naturalist & North American Birds, please send them to me by 25 June 2015. The focus of the quarterly report is on rare birds and other interesting sightings (unusual numbers, interesting behavior, etc). Sightings of exotics are also accepted. If you are unsure whether your sighting qualifies, please send it to me anyway. Please send your report to me at robin@tropicalaudubon.org 1. Put your list in taxonomic order (Sibley or NGS order is close enough). 2. At a minimum, we need the following information for each sighting: SPECIES, NUMBER of INDIVIDUALS, AGE and SEX OF THE BIRD (if known), COLOR MORPH (if applicable), LOCATION (including COUNTY), DATE, OBSERVERS. 3. Please include a description or photo of the bird(s) for significant rarities. A report with both photo and description is preferred. 4. Note that not all reports submitted will appear in FFN or NAB.
