I birded Aerojet Road this morning and saw a number of interesting species. I had a Swainson's Hawk and at least 4 Short-tailed Hawks (probably more). A White-tailed Kite was perched in a snag in the grassy field north of SR 9336 across from Aerojet Road. A Brown-crested Flycatcher was seen in the small hammock near the parking lot, and a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was perched on the wires running along SR 9336. A few Cave Swallows were mixed in with more common Tree Swallows, and the Tropical Kingbird was located at the C-111 water control structure just before you reach Aerojet Road.
