Jim King, recently retired from Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation and a long-time TAS field trip leader, passed away on Saturday. A memorial service for Jim will be held on Sunday, September 16th at Fulford United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at the Greynolds Park Boathouse. Services will begin at 3:00pm. The family would appreciate if those attending would wear brightly colored clothing, preferably with birds and/or floral patterns on them. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the South Florida Wildlife Center. Follow the link below for more info.
