I just read this article in the Miami Herald and there's a lot to be debated but it seems like the majority of Kendall residents are gung-ho about expanding this highway through 167th ave (habitat that produced a large amount of shorebirds including American golden plovers and Wilson's phalarope last year and also holds plenty of barn owls and white-tailed kites among many other species. This just shows that ignorance creates indifference. Talk to your neighbors and push for this thing not to happen if you agree...
