Thirty-three enthusiastic and waterproof early risers joined us this morning for the spring walk in Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP. We dodged showers and worked hard to collect our 30 total species and 12 warbler species. A couple of species were not seen by all and the list is below. Many thanks to everyone! The Botanical Support Team shared important information - thank you. Special thanks to Miriam and Nico for great assistance. Magnificent Frigatebird Brown Pelican White Ibis Royal Tern White-crowned Pigeon Common Ground-Dove Mourning Dove Merlin Gray Kingbird Black-whiskered Vireo Blue Jay Fish Crow Barn Swallow Gray Catbird Northern Mockingbird Ovenbird Northern Waterthrush Black-and-white Warbler Prothonotary Warbler Swainson's Warbler Common Yellowthroat American Redstart Cape May Warbler Black-throated Blue Warbler Palm Warbler (Western) Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle) Prairie Warbler Northern Cardinal Rose-breasted Grosbeak Painted Bunting (banded)
