About 18 birders turned out for the TAS walk at AD Barnes under gray skies this morning, and enjoyed an unexpectedly good morning of birding. While birding has been relatively quiet all year, today we enjoyed 11 species of warbler, including Worm-eating, an obliging White-crowned Pigeon, plus both Sharp-shinned and Broad-winged (also heard calling) Hawks and a Peregrine Falcon at the very top of the cell tower. And, it never rained! Thanks to all for an enjoyable morning.
