Found a blue headed vireo on a morning walk today in the Hammocks, Kendall area around the lake that is connected to Wild Lime Park (along the path to the North of the Park). He was on the ground, trying to fly up the trees, but unable to do so. Seemed to have had some injury to its wings. I contacted wild animal rescue and was on my way to take him there when he flew low from my hands and into some hedges connected to a residence. I lost sight of him after that. Hoping he will be ok. Posting this just in case some of you visit the area and will see him.
