Went up to Peaceful Waters in Wellington for the first time since spring, and though it was fairly quiet in the middle of the afternoon, there were a few wintering ducks down, including 5 lesser scaup in the north ponds, and at least 3 hooded mergansers. Also a smattering of sandpipers and yellowlegs.
