Yesterday evening, Eliana and I saw a very unusual corvid flying off of Krome Ave. in the vicinity of the rabbit farm (Conejera) -- @ approximately 200th St & Krome. It was clearly a corvid but had long lanky wings and instead of being all black, its belly and flanks were white with white extending up around the neck. I immediately thought of one of the African corvids, which I have seen as pets before. The pied crow (Corvus albus) might fit the description. Or perhaps a partially leucistic native crow? In any case, be on the lookout for this unusual corvid on Krome Ave. So, no photos, was a quick drive by sighting. Marc & Eliana The Adventure Continues
