Shorebirds

There are several fields south of 248 St and west of 107 Ave that are loaded with shorebirds. I went by there late and was pressed for time, but was able to find 16 species. Highlights included an American Golden-Plover, several White-rumped Sandpipers, and 3 Avocets. These fields need more attention since there are many birds and I didn't have time to go through them all. I may go back in the morning. American Golden-Plover Semipalmated Plover Killdeer Black-necked Stilt American Avocet Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Yellowlegs Solitary Sandpiper Willet Semipalmated Sandpiper Least Sandpiper White-rumped Sandpiper Pectoral Sandpiper Stilt Sandpiper Short-billed Dowitcher Wilson’s Snipe
