Some fall arrivals and spottings this past weekend, particularly on Saturday when it was overcast and spotty rain...starting to see some of the small birds around. I've been seeing black-and-white warblers, yellow-throated warblers, and blue-grey gnatcatchers over the past 3-4 weekends now, but this weekend they were joined by the first American redstarts this season - beautiful full-colored males...also painted buntings are back at the feeders, and an ovenbird below the feeder near the front entrance.
