Had a little time after 5pm today, so I briefly checked out Sewell Park on the river. Lots of mature native trees, and often some great birds, but the place can be a bit trashy. Right away I saw a brilliant male scarlet tanager, with the sun perfectly highlighting it! Stayed in full view for a while; definitely one of my best views. Nothing else notable, but spent only about 10 min there.
