Hey TAS, I'm starting to trap adult hawks for my PhD thesis and very soon I'll be climbing trees to tag and measure nestlings. I plan on being in the field every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday now through the end of April. I suspect Mondays and Thursdays will be the hardest days to fill. Every time I'm out, I need a second person to hold the birds while I take measurements. Below, is a list of the days I'll be trapping and if you would like to participate, please email me back with the dates you'd like to come out. I'm usually in the field from 9 to 4ish, but this can vary and you do not have to be present the entire day. My study area covers Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Please indicate in your email which of these counties you would be willing to travel to. Thank you all very much! Feel free to pass this along to any colleagues you think would be interested.
