I saw a bananaquit around 10:00 am today at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Ft. Lauderdale. The bird was feeding in the decent-sized fruiting fig tree that is about 30 yards from the start of the small interior loop trail (assuming you walk the trail clockwise) that begins and ends about 40 yards west of the campground. Access to the trailhead is by way of unpaved service road that tees into main park road on west side of the park. Trailhead is marked with two wooden posts and large rock. The bird was present for a couple of minutes and then left. I don't have any photos. This bananaquit was same coloration as recent Richardson bananaquit.
