Itinerary North Broward Trip Saturday Jan 14,2017 8AM Leader: John Hutchison 413 562 3976 Bruce Pickholtz Meet : 8 AM at Tall Cypress Natural Area ,from Florida Turnpike exit at Sample Road exit 69, drive west 3 miles. Turn right on Turtle Run Blvd. The Area is one block up on left. We will walk slowly one and half miles. Bathroom are available. Targets: Wintering birds and nesting Great horned Owl. Next we will proceed to Quiet Waters county Park. ( Go east on Sample and then North on Powerline the park is on left just after entering Deerfield Beach. The is an entrance fee. We will proceed to the right once in the park and find a picnic area along the road look for a live oak grove on right. Following lunch we will walk to the Eagle nest.
