The evil Groove-billed Ani was present this morning about 200' north of the gate in the area of an evil Brazilian Pepper and a little north of it, but it was not very cooperative. It probably didn't help that there was an evil Red-shouldered Hawk on a nearby tree looking down at the Ani as it called, nor did the evil high winds. A few of us got to see it as it moved and flew among the brush north of the Brazilian Pepper. At one point it flew with what looked like a bug in its mouth, but it never came out in the open like it did on other days and it was only visible for a couple of brief moments. Bwa Ha Ha!
