The Coot Bay/Everglades National Park CBC takes place this Saturday, December 31. If you'd like to participate, meet me at 6:30am at the Flamingo marina store. Flamingo is at the end of Everglades National Park's main road, 38 miles from the fee station. Closed-toe walking shoes, long pants, long-sleeved shirt and insect repellent are highly recommended. If experienced birders are available to count birds on Snake Bight during Saturday's CBC, either by canoe/kayak or motorized boat, please contact me before Saturday at fieldtrips@tropicalaudubon.org.
