For the first time this week, I was able to quickly scan offshore Key Biscayne this morning at 9:30 AM. The sea mist is close to shore, making it tough but I did have 3 jaegers (I assume Pomarine by their flight style) and shortly afterward, a young Sooty Tern zipped through the view. It headed for the bay, which is usual for these birds during heavy E or NE winds. A Forster's Tern flew south along the beach. Hobie Beach may be a good scanning spot today.
