Yesterday I spent the afternoon birding Crandon Park in search of the Whimbrel originally found by Nico Salino. After successfully locating the Whimbrel, I found a Snowy Plover along the shoreline of the north beach. The bird was about halfway between life guard tower #1 and the fossil reef area at the northernmost area of the beach. Here is the eBird checklist: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S31812776
