A bonefish skiff isn't usually ideal for pelagics but Sunday's calm winds lured me out east of Elliot Key/Biscayne Natl. We were in 500 feet of water for two hours and had the following in addition to frigates and royals: 13 cory's shearwaters 2 brown boobies 1 brown noddy 1 red-necked phalarope (juvenile) 10 bridled terns The shearwaters and phalarope were extremely accommodating. I was thrilled.
