A good source of migration information can be found on BirdCast, a website run by Cornell Lab of Ornithology. An overview can be found at: http://birdcast.info/ Informative graphs for various regions around the US break down migration for specific species into approximate 10-day intervals, showing beginning dates, rapid influx, peak migration, rapid departure and when the last migrants depart. Unfortunately, Southeast Florida (with mostly Caribbean migrants) shares graphs with Gulf coast areas that launch trans-Gulf migrants. It's still very interesting and the Southeast link is: http://birdcast.info/forecast/regional-migration-forecast-26-august-to-2-september-a-return-to-form/#GulfSoutheast It looks like South Florida has a thing or two to teach about Alder Flycatcher migration!
