I took a late morning walk through the trail past the boardwalk onto the area with the pine trees. Due to yesterday's rain and cool front, I was hoping for more than the usual number of birds, but I think I started too late. I did see 1 female Black-throated Blue, 2 female American Redstarts, 2 Black & White warblers, 3 Northern Cardinals, and 1 Purple Martin.
