On again this year we had a poor migration day , but we worked from 5 am till dark and managed 106 species. we started at snake road and cleaned up on all but on target in open country birds. However , only shorebird was killdeer. Warbler were scarce most species 7 were at Richardson park. We were late to the ocean and missed many usual birds however we did get four gulls 2 species Lol! lucky one frigate bird and one gannet. Interesting as dark was approaching on the drive to pick Chinese and a celebratory libation ,we came to an niter section and heard then saw a gray kingbird. And the next intersection two nanday flew in front of our car! It was fun and always a challenge not only to identification and spotting skills but routing . Additionally. In south Florida negotiating traffic.
