Migration kicked in a little today at Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP. Small flocks of Caribbean-wintering warblers came in to the south part of the park late this morning. I ended up with 11 warbler species, including 47 Prairie Warblers. Northern Parulas and Palm Warblers also made up good numbers. Other warblers: Worm-eating, Cape May, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow-throated (albilora race), Ovenbird, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue and Northern Waterthrush. Four Merlins patrolled the park but the incoming warblers continued actively foraging.
