Here's a link to photos of some of the birds observed this morning on the above captioned TAS walk at the remarkably sparrow-free Sparrow Fields Trail. The highlight for me was the distant pair of swallow tailed kites that came a bit closer and engaged in mating behavior. I was fortunate enough to record some of this and with the other bird photos that were acceptable, I have deposited them in a separate album in chronological order ,on flickr. Most of the photos can be clicked on for an enlarged view--but as usual, all the raptors today were but small images in my viewfinder..
