Spent yesterday morning birding Jonathan Dickinson State Park (JDSP) before making my way to Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge with Jared Guerra. JDSP turned up my lifer Bachman's Sparrow (one of the last "easy" birds I have in the state) as well as Florida Scrub-Jay and several Eastern Coachwhips. We arrived at 1:00 pm and within minutes of getting to the observation deck were able to see them across the canal in a Sable Palm. Shortly after the flew out (one at a time) while calling to our side of the canal and into the water impoundment. All in all a good day out of the dome... full list below: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S24280787
