Forty-five minutes of birding yielded 25 species (would have been 26 but couldn't tell which yellowlegs because of the dying light) in the CW. Duck numbers were high: Mottled Duck (25), Blue-winged Teal (10), Green-winged Teal (3), Gadwall (1), American Wigeon (2). Didn't see the Northern Pintail but I probably missed it due to the low light. Will try for it again tomorrow. Lots of waders and two American Bitterns chasing each other was a real treat. The Northern Shovelers I had last month were not there; wonder if they're in one of the Dump Marsh ponds. I'm wondering if anyone has swung by Graham Dairy Lake up north; Angel and Mariel? I really need to get my scope fixed! Below is a link to the eBird report. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S26681184 I am Rock Jetty
