There was a bit of tag team CBC scouting today in the Kendale Lakes and Hammocks suburbs of Miami-Dade, Florida.. Bill Boeringer joined me for a couple hours in the morning, and Miriam Avello joined me for the rest of the day. The result was some fantastic birding with multiple standout species. Kendale Lakes Park: Short-tailed Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Yellow-throated Vireo (x2), WESTERN TANAGER, Summer Tanager (x2) Kings Meadow Park: Ring-necked Duck, Bald Eagle, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler (x3), Baltimore Oriole Olympic Park: Sharp-shinned Hawk, Black-throated Green Warbler Brief poking around in the Hammocks: American Goldfinch (x12) SW 120th ST and 157th Ave Intersection: White-tailed Kite Carlos
