What differentiates these from Mitred or Green Parakeets are the red on their wrists, and the red and yellow pattern on the underwings in flight. There were about 200 in the flock. I took these photos on the ficus tree behind my home, which is full of fruit. These birds are on the golf course between where North Park Road crosses the C-10A Canal north of TY Park and the Emerald Hills Country Club on North Hills Drive in Hollywood. There is also a flock of about 25 Blue-crowned Parakeets scouring the area.
