Great finds Larry! The first Miami-Dade Leatherback nest of the season just hatched out a couple days ago. Pretty neat coincidence. Steve, Alex Martinez over at Crandon Park has been telling me about a Killdeer nest in the South Beach parking lot near the gardens. Not sure how it's doing now though. I'll be sure to get you info much quicker next time!
