For clarification - There are three separate natural areas mentioned in the comments. The Lantana Nature Preserve is a 12-acre site located at 400 E. Ocean Ave. on Hypoluxo Island. It is owned by the Town of Lantana. It is on the north side of Ocean Ave. and has a small parking area. There is a Facebook page for this site. The Lantana Scrub Natural Area is a 33-acre site in the Town of Lantana that is managed by Palm Beach County. It is located on the north side of Lantana Road between Andrew Redding Road and Southwinds Drive., between I-95 and U.S. 1. It is north of the Palm Beach County Health Dept. Lantana/Lake Worth Health Center. There is no parking area at this time. The Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area is a 98-acre natural area managed by Palm Beach County; most of the site is owned by the County. It is located on the south side of Hypoluxo Road, between Overlook Road and U.S. 1. There is a parking area and a large observation tower.
