An excellent resource for birding in Cuba is "Endemic Birds of Cuba" by Nils Navarro, published in 2015. Nils, who lives in Viñales in western Cuba, is a member of the TAS Bird Board on Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TropicalAudubonBirdBoard), so joining that group would be a good way to connect with him.
