Here are directions provided via WhatsApp text by Scott Scheinhaus, who saw the bird this morning: "South of the parking lot, there is a berm that goes south, with water on both sides. Walk the berm for 100 to 200 yards and scan the pond to the west. Scope is highly recommended." It appears from the map that the closest north-south berm to the parking area is about 2,000 feet east of the parking area. I've texted Scott via What'sApp, asking for clarification, and will update the Rare Bird page once I receive it.
