Trip Report Sat Feb 16--Shark Valley/Loop Rd. 17 birders logged 52 species, including 8 species of warblers on this trip. Highlights: At Shark Valley the group got to observe a soaring Snail Kite in a kettle of vultures. As always at Shark Valley we had great views of the regular Everglades species. On Loop Rd we were treated with great views and excellent photo opportunities of a nesting pair of Barred Owls. At Sweetwater the group got great views of several Tufted Titmouse that were singing a variety of notes and songs. All in all a fun day with great weather and fun birders.
