Follow up to my previous comments. First, autocorrect messed up my intention to say I heard a call from the tree. Not a Colin. On to what’s important. I’ve done an Internet search and used an online tool to identify the bird. I’m convinced it was an Altimira Oriole. All the markings match and the recorded call on YouTube matched what I heard. I understand it is not common to our area and hope it brings some excitement to the birder community.
