Next time, I guess. 😉 Something I find very intriguing. Another western bird, a Western Tanager (two, in fact) had been present for at least two or three weeks at Mead Botanical Gardens in Orlando. They both disappeared the same time the Townsend Warbler did. This could be coincidental, but I dont think so. Whether it was the changing of the winds or length of daylight, or something else, I hypothesize that some favorable cue for westward bird movement occured for these rare visitors. There's so much we don't know. Amazing.
