Stephen, good to hear that it's continuing. It was a big surprise for me and made my day! Toe, that sounds awful. speaking of accidents on 8th street, I prevented one (a fender bender anyway) while watching the ani! A lady waiting to make a right to go east on 8th st off 157th thought the car in front of her had had already gone and was only looking west for oncoming traffic and was creeping forward (nearly into the car in front of her). I saw this happening and basically put my hands on my head with an expression of (AHHHH!) and she noticed and slammed her brakes. Not a typical birding moment but maybe it is on 8th street!
