I found a Bahama Mockingbird this morning on the Osprey Trail at 8:30am sitting high in a dead tree west of the trail a few yards past the beach access with the red fence. Then, a female Dickcissel popped up near where the Osprey Trail meets the bike trail, 9:00ish. Next, at around 10:30am, I heard a strange zzzp call just south of the red-fence beach access on the Osprey Trail and a male Western Spindalis treated me and several other birders to a few quick views. While another birder was playing the Spindalis song to try to coax it out, I noticed the Thick-billed Vireo in a tree west of the trail. It stayed for about two minutes and 8 or so birders got decent views before it disappeared. One of the best birding days I've ever had. Special thanks to Smith who, we decided, was the lucky charm because every time I ran into him this morning, I found one of the vagrants a minute later.
