I think people can access Boca Chita from Biscayne National Park by taking the Pelican Skipper pontoon ride out. It's a gorgeous island with a manageable trail along the southern end. I've had the opportunity to bird it a few times and always thought it had potential. Make sure to double check the Geiger tree for Cuban Emerald!
