Hello Larry, this bird was seen in an area that is marked only for park staff and I'm sorry to admit that I couldn't help wandering under a sign to try to get a shot of a hawk that I ended up not being able to ID. This trail has an entrance just south of where the bicycle rentals are on the southern part of the park. The trail follows some power lines and eventually you reach a clearing to the right that is fenced off. At this point the trail continues to the left where eventually there is an opening to the right (goes about 20 yards out forming a T with the rest of the trail) and there is a large tree on one side of this intersection. This is where I saw the flycatcher in question. Not sure if park officials would maybe let you pass with permission since I know the park is very accommodating to birders. I gave this information to a couple of other birders through flickr as they also saw my previous post about the flycatcher on November 2nd and suspected it could be a La Sagra's. The trail continues on more or less straight until you reach another trail.
