Other birds include: Pileated Woodpecker, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher (they have little baby chicks), Eastern Meadowlark, Northern Flicker, Common Yellow-throat Warbler, Northern Parula, Carolina Wren, Tufted Titmouse, Barn Swallow, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, White-eyed Vireo, Swallow-tail Kite, Turkey Vulture, Osprey, American Crow, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Northern Cardinal, Pine Warbler, Loggerhead Shrike, and of course the Dark-eyed Junco. The other day Jeanette got a photo of an Eastern Bluebird on the rail of the boardwalk. So I would say this is a good place for summer birding.
