April 21 I went through the hammock area several times, early in the morning then 12:30 PM, at the Gumbo tree and the whole trail. Male & female American Redstarts. The beach on the other hand had 2 Piping Plovers at the Southernmost part, 4 Semipalmated Plovers and 1 Black Bellied Plover in the middle and in the Jetty region 1 Piping Plover, 1 Wilson Plover, 4 Semipalmated Plovers and the usual group of shorebirds.
