Hi Gabrielle, Kudos to you for being interested in "birding". You can check www.ebird.org if you don't already know about that website. Go to Florida, County, Hotspots. You can see what others are seeing. There is no shortage of "birding" places here in Fla. Peaceful Waters in Palm Beach County (Wellington) is very good now for wading/shorebirds birds. You'll see 2 Sandhill Colts there. Wakodahatchee (Delray Beach) has "nesting" birds. If you wish to see a Reddish Egret, maybe try Merritt Island (Black Point Drive) in Brevard County. I had seen them there a while ago. Green Cay (Boynton Beach) had a juvenile there a while ago and I haven't seen him since. Both Green Cay/Wakoda also has warblers but no guarantees. Hope this helps.
