The first time I saw them was in the Bahamas. I thought they were Boat-tail Grackles. Same thing yesterday. By the time I noticed it was an Ani it dove into a bush and wouldn't come out. So I played the Ani call on Bluetooth speaker and by the second note they were out on an exposed branch. Good luck
