I birded Loxahatchee today. Park rangers are aware of "rumor of an ani sighting this week" but nothing more concrete. I spent two hours checking ani habitat around the Marsh Trail around noon today (1/19) and came up with nothing. Snail Kite, Purple Gallinule, and Nanday Parakeets on wires north of Lee Rd on 441 were highlights.
